PartyCovered

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information PartyCovered collects, how it's used, who it's shared with, and the choices you have. It covers the PartyCovered app and the PartyCovered website. PartyCovered is a trade name of Lama Tech Innovations LLC, a Florida limited liability company, [mailing address — to be added].

1. Information We Collect

Account: your email address, your name, an optional profile photo, your account type (client or vendor), and whether you sign in with email, Apple or Google. If you sign in with Apple or Google, they send us your name and email address (or, if you chose to hide your email with Apple, a relay address that forwards to you).

Vendor profile: your business or stage name, bio, profile and cover photos, Instagram handle if you add one, city, service categories, availability, and, if you set one, your business location. The location is stored rounded to about a kilometer (two decimal places), so other users see roughly where you're based, never your exact address, and distances shown to clients are approximate.

Listings and media: the services you list (titles, descriptions, prices, deposit percentages, event types) and the photos and videos you upload to them or to your portfolio.

Bookings: event name, date, type and hours, the venue address, notes, the amounts charged and paid out, the status of each booking, when the vendor checked in, and, for a completed booking, the completion photo the vendor uploads. Completion photos are private: only the client and the vendor on that booking and PartyCovered administrators can view them, through links that expire.

Messages: the messages you send through PartyCovered, with the date and time. Messages pass through an automatic filter on our servers that removes phone numbers, email addresses, links and social handles and blocks messages that try to take a booking off the platform; while a booking request is still pending, a message containing contact details is refused instead of sent. Only the people in a conversation can read it. We don't read your messages in the normal course of running the service; one is only looked at to handle a report, a dispute, or a legal request.

Reviews: the ratings and comments you leave about a completed booking, shown with your name.

Favorites and blocks: the vendors you save as favorites and the users you block. Blocking stops messages between you and that user in both directions; these lists are used only for that and to show your favorites to you.

Reports: if you report another user or their content, we keep what you reported, your reason and details, and who you are, so we can review it. Reports are visible only to you and PartyCovered administrators.

Agreements and confirmations: a record of when you accepted the Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy and confirmed that you're 18 or older (which version, on the app or the website, the app version, and the time by our server's clock), and, for vendors, each confirmation that you hold the licenses, permits and insurance a listing's category requires.

Device and notifications: if you turn on notifications in the app, a push token that identifies your device to Apple's notification service, so we can deliver them.

Location (app only): with your permission, your device's current location, used on your device to sort nearby vendors by distance and, for vendors, to fill in your city and business location if you choose 'Use current location'. We don't store a client's current location on our servers; for a vendor, only the business location is stored, rounded as described above.

Calendar (app only): if you allow calendar access, the app adds your accepted bookings to your device's calendar and reads the events on a booked day to show them to you. This stays on your device; nothing from your calendar is sent to our servers.

Photos: the photos you choose for your profile, a listing, your portfolio, or a completion photo. The app's photo picker only shares the photos you select.

Vendor activity: a count of how many times your profile has been viewed (a number only; we don't record who viewed it), and, for your own bookings, how many times each client has booked you, so you can recognize repeat clients.

Payment information: card details are entered directly into Stripe's forms and are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor, never on PartyCovered's own servers. We keep Stripe's identifiers for your customer record, saved payment method, charges, holds, refunds and payouts, plus the amounts, so we can show you your bookings and reconcile payments. Clients save a card so a booking's deposit, remaining balance and any late-cancellation fee can be charged. Vendors save a backup card before they can accept a booking, which PartyCovered can charge to recover a deposit already sent to them if that vendor cancels an accepted booking; see the Terms of Service for details.

Vendor payout information: to receive payouts, vendors set up a Stripe account through Stripe's own onboarding. Stripe collects the information it needs to verify you and pay you (your legal or business name, date of birth, address, tax ID, bank account or debit card, and sometimes a document) and keeps it; PartyCovered never sees these details. We receive only your Stripe account ID, whether you're paying out as an individual or a business, whether your account is ready for payouts (which is what the "Verified by Stripe" badge on a vendor's profile shows), and anything Stripe still needs from you. PartyCovered does not collect or store ID documents, ID photos or selfies. This is also the information used to prepare any tax forms the law requires, such as a 1099-K.

Collected automatically: Stripe's software in the app and on the website collects information about your device and browser (such as your IP address, device type and identifiers, and how you interact with the payment form) to detect and prevent fraud; Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy describes it. The app sends crash reports and a sample of performance data to Sentry, such as your device model, iOS version, app version, a random identifier for your installation of the app, what the app was doing when it crashed, and the addresses of our own servers the app was calling (which can include your account's ID), never your messages, photos or payment details. Our website host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to protect the site and to count visits in aggregate. The website keeps your sign-in session and a couple of preferences (the account type you picked during signup, and whether you dismissed the app banner) in your browser's storage; it doesn't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:
- Run the marketplace: show listings, match clients with vendors, and process booking requests
- Take payments from clients and send payouts to vendors through Stripe
- Enable messaging between clients and vendors about a booking, and run the contact-details filter
- Show reviews and ratings so people can make informed decisions, and show which vendors have been verified by Stripe
- Send you notifications and emails about your bookings, messages and account
- Review reports of abuse, fraud or violations of our Terms of Service, and keep PartyCovered safe
- Keep the records the law requires us to keep (for example of agreements, payments and taxes)
- Fix crashes and keep the app and website working

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

3. Who We Share Information With

Other users: your name or business name, profile photo, bio, listings, reviews and approximate location are visible to other users. Once you have a booking with someone, the details needed to coordinate it (event details, venue address, notes, and the completion photo) are visible to the other party.

Stripe: processes every payment, hold, refund and payout, and runs vendor onboarding and verification. Stripe is an independent controller of the information it collects for these purposes; see stripe.com/privacy.

Supabase: hosts our database, sign-in and file storage, and sends the account emails (sign-up confirmation and password reset).

Apple and Google: support Sign in with Apple and Google sign-in. Apple also delivers the app's push notifications.

Resend: sends our transactional emails (booking updates and new-message alerts when you don't have the app installed) and receives your email address and the content of those emails to do so.

Sentry: receives the app's crash and performance reports.

Cloudflare: hosts the website, provides our domain's DNS, and routes email sent to our domain.

Except for Stripe, as described above, these providers process information on our behalf and aren't permitted to use it for their own purposes.

PartyCovered administrators: our team can see bookings, reports and account details to run the service and handle disputes.

Law enforcement and legal requests: when required to comply with a legal obligation, or to protect the rights, property or safety of PartyCovered, our users or the public.

4. Your Choices

Profile: you can review and update your profile at any time from your account.

Location, calendar and notifications (app): you can allow or turn off each one in your iPhone's Settings under PartyCovered. Without location, you can enter your city by hand and browse vendors by city; without calendar access, bookings simply aren't added to your calendar; without notifications, you'll still see everything in the app and we may email you instead.

Email: we can't turn off emails about your own bookings, since they're how the other party reaches you, but you can delete your account at any time.

Delete your account: at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app, or from your profile page on the website. This permanently removes your profile, listings, bookings, messages, reviews and the photos and videos you uploaded, and can't be undone. An account with an open booking can't be deleted until the booking is finished or cancelled.

Access and corrections: email us and we'll send you a copy of the information we hold about you, or correct it.

Do Not Track: we don't track you across other companies' websites or apps, so there's nothing for a "Do Not Track" browser setting to change; we don't respond to those signals.

5. Age Requirement

PartyCovered is only for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has an account, email us and we'll remove it.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, your profile, listings, bookings, messages, reviews, favorites, blocks, acceptance records and the photos and videos you uploaded are deleted. Records of payments and payouts (amounts, dates, fees and Stripe's transaction identifiers) stay with Stripe and in our accounting records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, no longer linked to your profile. We may also keep limited records where needed to resolve a dispute, enforce our Terms, or comply with the law.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access rules on who can read what in our database, and private storage for completion photos. Vendor identity checks happen on Stripe's side, so PartyCovered never holds ID documents. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the 'Last updated' date and ask you to review and accept the new version in the app or on the website before the changes take effect.

9. Contact Us
